Our Love Story

Our sweet rescue dog, Grayson, disappeared around 6:30am on October 4, 2017.  I discovered that the back gate, that we rarely used, was open.  I was convinced she was stolen because she was simply beautiful with her glossy black fur. She was a pit bull mix, and the sweetest puppy I had ever owned.  We searched and searched throughout our neighborhood and not one person had seen her.  I began to post on every social media page we could find, and in turn I came to realize what an enormous issue of homeless pets that existed in the Houston, Texas area.  We never found Grayson, but our family began making donations and falling in love with the dogs needing adoption and/or medical rescues posted on shelter social media pages.  We are out of room for more dogs at our house (per my sweet husband), and my youngest son is too young to volunteer at local shelters.  After a couple of years of dreaming, Love Story Barkery was born.  We want to make a difference for these animals that have given us unconditional love. 

All profits are donated to area dog shelters.
